A worthwhile investment of our 'Impact Day'
Every year, Amgen employees are given an 'Impact Day', a paid working day to dedicate to charity. They can use this, for example, for the annual Christmas campaign in cooperation with De Zonnebloem. De Zonnebloem is an organization dedicated to people with physical disabilities. In 2018 and 2019, Amgen organized a Christmas dinner, but due to corona measures, it could not take place in 2020. As an alternative, our Amgen volunteers delivered Christmas hampers to people's homes. These 200 Christmas hampers were also appreciated and we received grateful responses.
