Amgen will remain the title sponsor of the Amgen Singelloop Breda for the next five years. This gives a long-standing partnership with this Breda tradition a fitting continuation. With Le Champion as the new organiser, Amgen will continue to be involved in an event that has brought people together and energised the city for nearly 40 years.
The 39th edition will take place on Sunday, 4 April 2027. The route along Breda’s canals and through its historic city centre will remain unchanged, as will the unique atmosphere for which the Singelloop is known. Volunteers, local residents, supporters and music along the route help make it an unforgettable day for participants of all ages. There is also a new addition this year: on the Saturday before the Singelloop, the Singel Wandeltocht Breda will take place, giving keen walkers the opportunity to take on a sporting challenge.
The Singelloop is something colleagues at Amgen look forward to every year. Hundreds of colleagues lace up their running or walking shoes, often together with family and friends. It is about sporting achievements, but just as often about training together, encouraging one another and enjoying a day when all of Breda comes together. Afterwards, Amgen participants traditionally meet at the Amgen Singelloop Dome.
The Singelloop represents movement, health and connection. These are values that fit well with both Amgen and Breda. We look forward to adding another special chapter to this wonderful tradition on 4 April, together with Le Champion, thousands of participants and the city of Breda.
