On Sunday, October 5, the city of Breda came alive for the annual Amgen Bredase Singelloop – one of Breda’s biggest and most beloved events, where running brings everyone together. For many years, Amgen has proudly been the main sponsor, connecting our name to this celebration of health, energy, and community spirit.
Breda at Its Best
Every first Sunday in October, Breda transforms into a vibrant, energetic city. For nearly forty editions, the historic city center has been turned into a lively course, with thousands of runners and supporters filling the streets. Some take on the challenge, others cheer from the sidelines – all united by a shared sense of excitement.
The Bredase Singelloop is more than a race. It’s a day when the city celebrates togetherness, vitality, and pride – Breda at its most beautiful.
Amgen’s commitment in motion
Each year, participation from Amgen continues to grow. This edition saw more than 400 enthusiastic colleagues at the starting line – a record number!
Our teams ran or walked distances of 5, 10, and 21 kilometers, each one pushing personal limits and encouraging one another along the way. The Family Run added extra smiles to the day, as children crossed the finish line proudly hand in hand with their parents.
Afterwards, Amgen participants gathered at the Amgen Dome on Kasteelplein – medals shining, spirits high, and energy flowing. Over healthy snacks, stories were shared, achievements celebrated, and connections strengthened.
This day filled with movement, connection, and pride has become a highlight of the year. And we’re already looking forward to the next Bredase Singelloop – another chance to move forward, together.
