Amgen Breda – Visitor Safety Instruction

Welcome to Amgen Breda, where safety comes first. Ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for all staff, visitors, contractors, and temporary workers is a priority for us. Unsafe actions or behavior can not only impact our products, but also our patients who rely on them. By following these rules, we maintain regulatory compliance and help ensure our products remain safe for patients worldwide.

This instruction summarize the on-site rules you must follow to protect people, products, and the environment. If anything is unclear or unsafe, STOP and contact your Amgen host or Amgen Breda Security. Only work when it can be done safely.

1) While on Site

• Always stay with your host. Visitors always must be accompanied by their host.
• Always wear your visitor badge visibly. It helps us to recognize you as visitor.
• Avoid restricted or hazardous areas, unless you are accompanied by an authorized Amgen staff member.

2) Safety Rules

During your visit always comply with these specific safety rules:

• It is not allowed to use mobile devices on the stairs. Stay focused.
• Always hold the handrail when using the stairs.
• Never cross barriers – they’re there to protect everyone.
• Keep all areas and walkways clear from obstacles. Avoid trip hazards.
• Keep to a speed limit of 15 km/h on the premises and give way to pedestrians. Drive carefully.
• It is not allowed to smoke, use alcohol or drug of any kind – anywhere on site.

3) In Case of Emergency

• If we need to evacuate the building, follow your host’s guidance and proceed to the nearest assembly point
• Our trained Emergency Response Team (ERT/BHV) is ready to assist.

4) Respect the Work Environment

• Eat only in designated areas (e.g. the restaurant).
• Use the correct bins to dispose of waste.
• Leave workspaces and meeting rooms clean and tidy.

5) Photography Policy

• Taking photos or videos is not allowed unless you have explicit prior approval. This protects the privacy, our intellectual property and safety.
