The biotechnology company Amgen, based in Breda, has brought smiles to the faces of participants from De Zonnebloem. A total of 100 guests received an invitation to attend an enchanting Christmas brunch on December 14. With this event, Amgen hopes to bring together De Zonnebloem participants, providing them with a wonderful day.
The national association De Zonnebloem is a Dutch organization dedicated to enriching the lives of people with physical limitations due to illness, disability, or advanced age. De Zonnebloem is fully committed to achieving this goal by organizing various activities and providing personal attention through the efforts of its volunteers.
René van der Velden, coordinator of De Zonnebloem from Breda, is convinced that the Christmas brunch is one of the highlights of the year for the guests. ‘'Our 100 guests have once again been incredibly pampered. Each of them enjoyed it immensely in their own way.’' Mrs. de Jong from Bavel can only confirm this and would like to express heartfelt thanks to Amgen for their excellent care.
The impact Amgen makes in people around us goes beyond our mission to serve patients with our innovative medicines. '’It is very valuable for me that we have been able to do something for the elderly in the Breda community, and that many colleagues have worked to make this lunch a success,'’ said Carolina Correa, General Manager of Amgen Netherlands.
