Together taking a step towards paying for outcomes
In the morning of May 11, the 5th edition of the Value Agenda NL work session will take place. With 25 decision makers in healthcare we will continue to design practical tools to make costing more value driven.
Amgen has been a partner of the Value Agenda of the Netherlands from the very beginning. With the Value Agenda of the Netherlands, a platform has been created to develop the optimal climate for value-driven care in an action-oriented manner. With this, we hope that value based healthcare initiatives can develop further and faster and that the patient will become more and more central in healthcare.
Each year, about 25 healthcare decision-makers gather to be inspired by real-world examples on the one hand, but also to determine the next steps together. The core of the sessions in recent years has been to explore the possibilities of moving from paying for care activities to paying for outcomes of care. For example, the 2022 session will focus on the role of contracting and national policy to enable payment based on patient value added in healthcare.
