Recruiting donors together
Every year in September, during blood cancer month, Amgen employees organize an activity with the aim of increasing the recognition of Matchis – the Dutch Centre for stem cell donors - and to recruit donors.
In September 2018, Stichting Matchis was invited to our office so that all Amgen employees could learn about the foundation and sign up as donors. In 2019, we were together with Stichting Matchis at three different locations of the Avans Hogeschool in Breda to recruit as many young stem cell donors as possible and explain Stichting Matchis. In 2020, in connection with the corona pandemic, we ran a digital campaign for Stichting Matchis via LinkedIn.
In 2021, several Amgen employees cycled the "Fietselfstedentocht" to raise money for Matchis and recruit donors in Bolsward, the start and finish of this tour. Watch the Dutch after-movie below:
