Since 1997 Amgen has its European Logistic Center (ELC) in Breda. From this ELC Amgen delivers products all over Europe and a growing number of countries in other parts of the world. As such the ELC contributes to Amgen’s aspiration of becoming the best human therapeutics company in the world.

The motto of the ELC is best prescribed as “Every Patient, Every Time”. Meaning that we strive to make sure we will always have our products available at the right time and place such that patients will have access to our products which help them to recover from their serious illness. From the ELC in Breda we deliver both registered products as well as products in later stage of development used in clinical trials.

While labelling and packaging combined with distribution are seen as the core activities of Amgen’s ELC these activities cannot be executed without several support functions. Therefore the ELC is also Amgen’s International centre for Quality & Regulatory Compliance, Information Systems, Financial Shared Services and Customer Service.
